 A spirit has been haunting someone for all of their life. The spirit has been miserable in life, and is just as miserable in unlife. When the person being haunted realizes that they are trans and begins to transition, the spirit comes to some impactful realizations about themselves - namely, that they've been trans all along, and the dysphoria that's been plaguing them has been the source of their misery. If you wanna go with this prompt, you can take it wherever you want - you could make the spirit or the haunted person the main character, whatever works best for you. Same with where the story goes from there, it's up to you. If you only wanna go with parts of this/do something else altogether, that's fine! It shouldn't be too sad and dark overall, though it could certainly go there for a bit. You can do romance if you want; I'd prefer a sapphic pairing, though I wouldn't mind something else either. Some good gender feels would be appreciated in either case.
